Yn. 19:31), spend three days and three nights in the earth a prophesied in his own words and have been resurrected on Sun (-g-o-d) day morning – only a day and a half later (not to mention that many Christians, in putting the execution before the beginning of the First Day of Pesakh, actually put the crucifixion before the Last Supper). How also could a week’s worth of meetings, including a trial before the Roman ruler, be telescoped into one night? Two Batei-Din (Jewish religious courts) convened and an appointment was made, and a trial conducted, before Pilate. Clearly, this didn’t happen in one night as popularly supposed. The solutions lie in understanding the perspective of the Jews, the principals and authors involved – which includes both the Netzarim and other Jews. Note 23.6.2 demonstrated that during the Khagim of Matzot and Sukot there are special "Observed Shabatot," also called by the demonstrated synonym Shabaton, in addition to the weekly Shabat. Yehoshua's sepulcher was discovered empty on a Shabat at sunset,28.1.1 yet, we are told, he was in the earth for three days and three nights (q.v. NHM 12:40). Thuse, we need only count back three full 24-hr. periods from a Shabat to pinpoint the day of his burial. Yehoshua could have been buried no later than the evening of Yom Reviyi.12.1.1 the Shabat of the First Day of Matzah must be ruled out because that would require that Yehoshua was executed on and buried before the Seider Pesakh. A priori, the Shabboton of the 21st of Firstmonth1.18.1 of that year had to have fallen no later in the week than Yom Khamishi.12.1.1 (The above constitutes the first four paragraphs of a seven page note.)
